Tese, Mesa

Our Center for Reproductive Medicine is collaborating with urology and andrology experts in the treatment of male infertility.

In order to determine the cause of male infertility undergo a complete examination, including an analysis of the history of the disease, urological examination, blood and semen analysis. Analysis of sperm (semen analysis) includes an assessment of the concentration (number of sperm per milliliter), motility, and morphology (shape) of sperm, as well as the determination of the viscosity of the ejaculate, semen liquefaction, and other parameters.

Upon detection of low semen parameters we predalagaem procedures thesis and MESA. These procedures are used to obtain sperm for later use in a cycle of IVF and ICSI.

In general, these procedures are indicated in cases of congenital absence of the vas deferens, patency of the vas deferens due to myocardial inflammation or injury.

Even if the spermatic cords epididymis found too little or no sperm found, or appendage absent, sperm can be found in the testes and on the same day injected directly into the egg using IVF technology combined with ICSI.
